Students at Reading University can now study in style thanks to the installation of Platinum Care from Heckmondwike FB. The product, which is part of the company’s Care Range, was rolled out across the newly refurbished St Georges Hall accommodation in Reading’s student village.

Cliff Underwood, from building contractor Jarvis, comments: “When renovating the luxury student studio apartments and entrance hall, the university sought a high quality and attractive floor covering, which could withstand heavy wear and tear. Platinum Care carpet in Eucalyptus was ideal for the apartments as the darker tones complemented many of the soft furnishings.” The carpet’s acoustic properties ensure sound dampening for a peaceful environment. Its permanent staining and bleach resistance, plus anti-static properties ensures high performance and durability.

Platinum Care in Marigold was also installed across the entrance area along with Dreadnought from Heckmondwike FB’s Entrance Area range. Further student flats at the university were also given a revamp.

Supacord, which offers both high quality and long lasting durability, was rolled out throughout the student bedrooms.
